16 Kia Optima eating oil

Had a 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid with 200K KM on it when I traded it in for my Stinger. Had zero issues with oil consumption and I changed every 6000K. I used a 0w in Winter and 5w in summer of the spec oil. Car drove like a champ. In total I have had 5 Kia's since 2010 (3 Souls, KOH, and Stinger). Love the brand
I told my wife if she wants to keep driving Hyundai we will have to get a better CAA plan.
 
Found this . Applies to all D.I.. Should of stayed with E.F.I. like that of our2nd generation FIT .

Can't be good for air quality . Lot of soot is released into the air due to D.I.. The picture below is from the tailpipe of the '18 Hyundai Accent about 6 months after buying it new . Probably around 7,000 miles on the engine when I took the photo .
