From "the mechanic", to Deboss, to flight simulators... Yep!What a complete load of nonsense all wrapped up in more nonsense.
It's called being so full of it that you don't even know you're full of it.

I hadn't heard of that. I suppose anything is possible,, it just doesn't sound right.
Beginning to look like a drive byOP has yet to respond or post link. Not a great sign this was a genuine query.
Maybe he'll do so today?
My 2020 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi doesn’t, neither does my daughters 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe.I don’t know of any new cars that don’t require synthetic oil.
Well that’s good. I’m glad to know they fully haven’t switched over yet. So that must mean none of those are 0W either yet because that’s all synthetic. My 2020 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi doesn’t, neither does my daughters 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Wrong again, Pennzoil and Valvoline both make synthetic blend 0W-20 oils and at one time Honda offered it under their name.Well that’s good. I’m glad to know they fully haven’t switched over yet. So that must mean none of those are 0W either yet because that’s all synthetic.
Which manufacturers require a particular winter rating? Nearly all are grade recommendations not requirements. I haven’t seen any that have base stock requirements as such, some may have an approval requirement that can only be met with certain base stocks but that’s not written into the approval.Well that’s good. I know so does Castrol but still that’s part synthetic I haven’t ever seen a car requiring synthetic blend so that’s why I said that.Wrong again, Pennzoil and Valvoline both make synthetic blend 0W-20 oils and at one time Honda offered it under their name.
Yeah I know. He said his cars didn’t require synthetic so since 0W is synthetic or synthetic blend so that must mean it’s not required like it is in most cars or at least recommended for that.Which manufacturers require a particular winter rating? So why did you say "So that must mean none of those are 0W either yet because that’s all synthetic." when it isn't accurate?I know so does Castrol but still that’s part synthetic I haven’t ever seen a car requiring synthetic blend so that’s why I said that.
