Some of us who are out of High School and live and work in the real world know othewise about what goes with shipping,..because we have seen it.
Get back to me in 10 years on that one after you graduate!!
Lets see now. I have been a process engineer for General Electric, Production Control manager also in charge of shipping/receiving, manufacturing manager for a tier 1 GM supplier plus restored cars/trucks frame up for over 20 years. I am now retired. I believe I am qualified to call [censored] on your explanation.
What is your point?? Synlube is the only company using the bottle cap plugs on the planet???? Is that your point??
I also would like listen to why you are so qualified on foil vs cap plugs and how they are installed and why one is better than the other. If you were a small blender what would you use to seal the bottles before they were shipped?
What is the issue with the plugs!! They work very well. I have seen the foil seals leak or fall off the bottle when the cap is removed. YOU have never observed loose seals in your entire career. This may shed some light as to why GM is in such turmoil,..now it all makes sense,...I see it in your attitude,....nice,...and thank you for sharing that with us.
You are really taking the pis$, I have to laugh. Enough. It seems that noone except you has seen loose foil caps. If they are loose, it isn't because of shipping. It is because when they were applied at the factory they didn't stick properly.
OMG I called the synlube number and instead of getting a "number is not in service" like I expected, I got a recording of a mexican guy who you can barely understand, telling you to leave a message. So funny, synlube is so full of it, so are you kirk, or MIRO.
And I WILL tell you the problem with plugs. They aren't installed from the factory. What this means is, you broke the safety seal. You could have dumped out the oil that was in the bottles, and refilled it with used engine oil, stuck a plug in it, and then tried to sell it. I would compare it to repainting a stolen car and reselling it to the owner.
