Switching to HPL Euro 5W-30 10K OCI

I don't smoke
I don't drink
I don't do drugs
I don't do Coffee Houses
I have no Home Mortgage payment
I have no vehicle payment
We eat-out Breakfast once a week
We eat-out Dinner once a week

..... and many here say I shouldn't be wasting $300 per year for boutique oil on my two junk engines. That I should be spending $120 per year on either Mobil-1, Castrol, Valvoline or Pennzoil.... and get the same results

I do not call my $300 Spenditure a Waste. I call it an Investment.

Proper preventative maintenance cannot be considered an investment, because it’s not going to make the machine any more valuable.

However, it is a cost avoidance, as it will help reduce or eliminate breakdowns, parts & labor costs, downtime, and minimize depreciation. It’s the best plan you can have because generally speaking, dollars spent on PM not only improve OEE/uptime, but also extend the useful life of the machine due to reduced wear & tear.

Semantics, kinda. But I like your plan otherwise 👍🏻

Well, I did an OC to hpl euro 5w-30 6qts. Subjectively it sounds different at 70mph. It sounds quiet but not quieter than pup 0w-20. More of an insulated sound. Kinda of a hard to describe.
