Supposed to get some snow tonight

It has been a fairly mild winter so far in West Michigan. Looking forward to spring!

Well they closed NYC schools, Nassau and Suffolk County schools too, they announced that last night. A lot of businesses closed, gas stations had lines, supermarkets appeared to be packed, at least from driving past them. The funny thing is it's almost 0430, and not one single flake has fallen. It reminds me of a few years ago, when they closed the schools, and businesses ahead of time and it rained instead of snowed. I'm wondering if they got this one right.

At least the call came in last night, 9pm, that school would be closed today. Usually they call at 5:30, so I lose a half hour of sleep as a result.

Was a good call, I think. Didn't start snowing until 7, but it's over an inch per hour.

Really bizarre storm for us.

I'm in the North Eastern corner of Maryland, and we have snow and it's just all around miserable outside with wind and such. But at work in Baltimore, the traffic cams show nothing.
