Anyone know, or know where to get the latest pds for this oil? Just curious re; the latest spec`s on it. I think my Wal-Mart changed from the Mobil made, to the warren made according to the looks of the bottle`s.

Ya know, I really love some of you guy`s on here. I ask a simple question and I get this, "Who cares about specs on it? Use it and sleep well at night!" as a response. Real nice. Thanks man.

Lexus,
That type so response is getting more frequent. I don't know why.
I'd hold off on using it until you know it meets the specs your cars.

Isn't the entire point of a motor oil forum to discuss motor oil? I'm guessing most people on the forum care or they wouldn't be here?

It wasn't that long ago when Quaker State Conventional was $12....WISH I WOULD HAVE CLEARED THE SHELF!!!

Haaa the good old days. Dollar Tree was a 5&10 cent store, beer was 99 cents for 6 pack, gasoline was $.299/gal., coke was a nickle...and the attendant at the gas station pumped my gas, wiped my windshield, and checked my oil!

Thats the wrong warren. You need WPP which is Warren distribution, who makes Mag 1. They have the super tech pdss if you email and ask for them. Someone did with the super hm a while back.

http://www.wd-wpp.com/

http://www.mag1.com/products.aspx?id=da8fd7e8-8852-41d8-a7a9-11ff79b5b060

The Mag1 PDS are the complete pds I've seen. They list everything!
This is incorrect. I just emailed them last week and asked if Supertech is Mag 1 and was no. Mag1 accroding to the email is there "premium" product and Supertech does not contain the same additive levels.

THis is the reply: "The Walmart formulations are a Certified GF-5/SN and the Mag 1 would be our flagship formulations made just a little better (more aw additive ect...) that they need to be while still meeting GF-5/SN. Both are fantastic products for the money. Without getting specific proprietary formula information that's about as much info as I can give. I hope this helps.

To this question: Is your Mag 1 20w50, 10w40 &10w30 the same oil or do you supply Walmart Supertech?

I had a reply from a guy named Doug Schlott in about 45 seconds after submitting a question on the Warren website so the gentlemen/company is very responsive.

this warren makes coastal oil. i know you are wanting to know about ST but... I happened to find a local distributor that sold me a case coastal semi syn 1 qt bottles for $31.XX. Ive got 3k on the first run right now, so far so good. Im gonna probably go for the barrel next time (2.12/qt). I run lots of miles per year.

I just did a google search for oil distributors in my area then called around till i found one that could sell me oil by the case, 5 gal bucket or even a drum. This way you cut out the middle man. As long as its gf-5 and whatever other specs meet your requirements, should be ok for 5k.
