looking for a definitive pds on super tech synthetic 5w30. bottom of bottle is stamped wpp. went on warrens website. pds listing for categories: approved, autoguard, coastal, enviroil, gold band, golden state, itasca, lubrigold, lubriguard, microbe, saxon gold and warren. the only category i could find a 5w30 gf-5 full synthetic sn oil is under lubrigold. would it be safe to say the pds for "LubriGold Full Synthetic GF-5/SN Motor Oils" is the pds for "Super Tech Full Synthetic 5W30 Motor Oil", with the wpp stamp on that bottle, would be an accurate assumption? looks like a nice oil. has a lot of approvals. the supertech bottle only lists one approval though, dexos1. LubriGold Full Synthetic GF-5/SN Motor Oils meet or exceed the requirements of GM 6094M (SAE 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30) and Ford WSS-M2C945-A (SAE 5W-20) and WSS-M2C946-A (SAE 5W-30), Chrysler MS-6395 (SAE 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30). Meets Toyota Specifications, and Honda Service Fill Specifications (SAE 0W-20, SAE 5W-20, SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30). LubriGold High Performance SAE 5W-30 is a licensed GM dexos1® product (GM License # RB1E0709028). GM dexos1® supersedes GM4718M, and GM6094M. All grades meet or exceed API Service Category SN, SM, SL, SJ and comply with ILSAC GF-5 requirements.

I believe ST synthetic is made by Warren Performance Products (WPP or WNE) out of Nebraska while Lubrigold is made by Warren Oil of Dunn, North Carolina....2 DIFFERENT companies. PS: As I stated in a recent post...I have recently seen ST synthetic made by AOC (Amalie) while down in Florida...I don't know if this is a South East USA thing or if Amalie sourced ST syn. will be sold elsewhere around the country.

Right. Italian68 is certainly not the first to confuse the two separate Warrens. I saw AutoZone oil in an AOC bottle here recently. SuperTech here was still WPP the last time I looked.
