Combo base end bypass. Blurry inside pleats, sorry. Personally I like them. Have to watch for wide pleat, but it can be seen, unlike most filters. $3 oil filter made in USA. It looks identical to the Mopar Magnetti filter but it may be the media is different.

Great pictures.
Not for me though and I use the same filter model.
Some times a few more $$$ buys me peace of mind.
I used up some new cheap filters recently and I kept getting under car looking at them.
I don't want to do that anymore.

ACDelco champ rebrand. Nothing new. If GM runs them up to 10k, don't see an issue.
Not exactly. ACDelco filters specifically for GM applications do not use a combo valve, they spec a separate dome coil spring bypass. As noted, topic ST3614 uses a combo valve. Also the newest GM ACD use metal endcaps as shown in the PF64, as opposed to felt/fiber in topic. Otoh, the newer ST9688 uses a similar to the ACDelco design.

Personally if I was to use topic ST application, ~5k mi. would the max.

My point is they come off the same line, same color can, same filtration efficiency, etc. The supertech part finder at walmart says to use ST10060 which is the combo valve. Is it dome bypass w the 22 PSI? Probably not. Will it grenade your engine <10k? Probably not.

What's the application?

Looks like the Champ PH48's I've been running on my hemi Ram 1500. Fine for the ~6000mi and under OCI IMO.

Current blue can are Champion made for Wal-mart. The previous white can
were made by Wix.
Decent filters all around. Use them on my lawn tractor. 3614 is a Ford and
some Chrysler unit but fits most all lawn tractors.

Well, that's not how it was posted thus the elaboration for all reading the sub-forum to note the difference between the "ACDelco...GM runs" and the topic ST filter. I have no idea if they are the "same filtration/same efficiency" as I've not seen an ISO 4548-12 comparison of the ST and the GM ACDelco(s). Be that as it may, the construction differences noted between the GM ACD and the topic ST are accurate as posted.

As noted the ST10060, also uses a combo valve. The ACD GM equivalent PF48E, like the PF64 also uses a separate dome poppet bypass, no combo valve. Last dissections of the latter saw showed unlike the PF64 linked in my previous post, it still used endcaps same as topic They may or may not have changed to metal.

The ST9688 mentioned in my previous post (and later followed up in another) as similar in construction to GM ACDelco OFs like PF64 remains unique in the ST OF line. To this point there is no similar (ecore, metal endcaps, poppet dome bypass) ST application.

'To me' the differences in construction were/are significant enough to point out. One may want to consider why GM uses a separate dome bypass in their equivalent Champ Labs made ACDelco filters, no combo valve.

Zombie thread, but I used to get my OPE filters at Farm & Fleet (WIX 51348). They were out of stock then greatly increased in price during/after COVID, and I saw some discussion about the WM house brand filters. I haven't bought anything but a ST3614 since. Domestically made and less than $4, can't beat it. Champ Labs is the OEM, and I've used their AC Delco filters on my 2500HDs for 10 years. I change oil way before the hour/mileage interval anyhow (yearly on the main mower).
