I bought this filter because it was on wholesale closeout at RockAuto, and I already was buying closeout parts. For $1.28 from Famous Brand I can't complain, and I don't see why this filter wouldn't work for a normal 5k OCI. I kind of regret cutting it open because I figured it'd look like garbage inside, the ProTune I'd say looks better.
It was made in China.
The Pronto PO4651 is on the left and Carquest on the right. The Carquest has a lighter colored media, and the filter element is a little bit taller. Still nice pleat count and metal crimp and end caps.
Pleats were a bit more open on the back.
