My dollar tree only had STP oil (SM)> Does anyone know who makes this oil and the quality of it?

J.D. Streett--assume it's SM.
If you do a search for STP it has some info on this oil, and a link to Streetts website.
It's rated api SM, which means it's "good enough".
Use it if you're so inclined. It won't hurt a thing.
FWIW, it goes for $1.35/qt. at the Dollar General near me.

By me Dollar General has the STP oil for about $1.50 a quart.
Probably about the same quality as GF4 SM rated SuperTech you get at Walmart
