Stowaway was discovered alive in the landing gear on AA flight from Guatemala City to Miami

I would bet that if this were a longer flight in the northern parts, this stowaway would have been a stiff and have fallen out when the landing gear went down for landing.

Most definitely. There are a couple of neighborhoods near Heathrow that have had dead bodies found in them, the person falling when the landing gear was lowered. A recent one fell in someone’s back yard garden.

Most stowaways there are coming from Africa.
