One of the guys i'm friendly with in the community just traded both his Fords in on two Tesla's (yup, you read that correctly). He then mentions not knowing what to do with all this Motorcraft oil and filters he has on hand. I volunteered to take the oil off his hands. He's gifting me 35 quarts in different containers 1qt and 5qt bottles of 5w20 and 5w30 blend. It's incredible how just being nice to people comes back many fold.

My neighbor has a Model 3 and they like it. No issues and they bought it used with 20 something k miles. It's tempting to buy an e car.

That's a good example of one reason why I don't think hoarding motor oil (or anything) is a good idea, unless you get it free or very cheap and have the storage space. Then also consider oil storage life. Hoarding oil wasn't financially good for the guy who gave you the oil, but it worked out for you. So thumbs up for you.

I have an unopened quart bottle of 5w20 PUP that I bought for an old man's Toyota 4 Runner. He died. His Toy is gone. I have no use for a bottle of PUP. I will give it (free) to the 1st BITOG member who PMs me that is willing to drive to Longview WA to pick it up.

Yep. I don't think I have ever been as satisfied with a vehicle purchase. The cars are that good. Easy to live with in so many ways and unmatched performance at anywhere near the price. What's not to like?
