Indeed. They communicated quickly and approved with the checks being cut in less than 10days on my end.And their rebate came fast. I purchased and submitted on May 29th. Had $50 rebate on June 11th.
13 day turnaround. Mobil should take note. (I didn't do Delvac this season due to their turnaround. I did do Rotella, Delo, Pennzoil, Castrol, and Mobil 1. Sheish.)
I did submit Mobil 1 for Mobil 1 FS 0w-40, as I use it in our toyota. It's the last one of the five I'm waiting for.Indeed. They communicated quickly and approved with the checks being cut in less than 10days on my end.
You dodged a bullet by not submitting to Delvac. I’m not sure how Mobil accepts that many who are denied, end up using another brand. There are respectable offerings elsewhere that meet A40/GT or VDS 4.5. I certainly did my part letting them know the experience I had will be shared with one of the largest PCA clubs all around. Sure, rebates can generally be a distant thought regarding oil choices, but not when it comes to a company misrepresenting on a blatant basis.
I have no problem putting Chevron, Motul, and even Shell in the 911 or diesel tow rig when the change is due. I told them just that!
My Castrol rebate came from Arrowhead and was super speedy. Mobil can't blame their chosen processor.^
Makes sense. Mobil runs the same team, they just really, really pushed against many not even posted here for the larger ticket Delvac items. Who knows why as there are as many theories as chocolate chips on a cookie.
I believe in capitalism.
I so happen to use what I buy. On the odd run and a changeover of 5w-40 to 15w-40, I was selling my gallons of T6 5w in 21/22 for $40gal.
That’s were you’re incorrect. I’m not sure if you understand how companies that are contracted to represent one or more entities work. Each has a set of terms that must be abided. When those terms are not held or modified unbeknownst, then there are issues. As is the case here with the arrowhead representing Mobil and their products. My Castrol rebate came from Arrowhead and was super speedy. Mobil can't blame their chosen processor.
I understand exactly what I said. That’s were you’re incorrect. I’m not sure if you understand how companies that are contracted to represent one or more entities work. Stating that Castrol utilizes the same company has absolutely NO bearing on that of Mobil. I’m surprised that you would insist such.
Let us stick to that which we know. After all, guessing has no qualitative analysis…….
Odd you affirm your position. After all, we’re just two individuals attempting (e.g. at least myself) to have honored stated terms and conditions.I understand exactly what I said.
Clearly Arrowhead can a quick rebate. Mobil can't blame Arrowhead. Mobil's contract/arrangements are on them. If mobil requires (for example) their processor to hold all rebates 60 days and deny 20%, that's their call.
I know both companies have used the same processor. I know one has repeatedly had poor results.
I don't even understand what planet on which we are having this discussion, or what point you're trying to make.Odd you affirm your position. After all, we’re just two individuals attempting (e.g. at least myself) to have honored stated terms and conditions.
Do you realize what you just said in the last sentence of your first paragraph? There is not one legal standard nor case history to bring merit to such. You do realize that right? There are such terms in the legal world like that of “fiduciary duty” and “torts” that control that which we share discourse over.
If you have information of such, let that air out because that’s a significant grievance that even on a federal level, legal issues would arise.
At the end of the day, it’s in poor form to speculate. Especially regarding such on a forum as this which MUST pride itself on factual, empirical, and qualitative data for a myriad of situations.
I’m here on Earth having stated nothing except that which is known and true. On other hand, you gave an example that you may or may not know to be true. Nonetheless, it would be illegal do such and would put Mobil in a far poorer light than they currently are in. So I ask again, “Do you have any clue about that which you and I are talking about?”I don't even understand what planet on which we are having this discussion, or what point you're trying to make.
1) Arrowhead handles promotions for multiple companies.
2) Some of them are fast.
3) Mobil is not.
Clearly it's a Mobil issue and characteristic of their relationship with Arrowhead. Zero speculation.
Look at post 27 and realize where you went astray. Are you still in my solar system or have you slipped into a Black Hole?
