So when will the price of oil start to come down?

I have a feeling OPEC will indirectly see to it that motor oil prices don't come down. The blenders said they weren't lowering prices because they were "anticipating" increases. OPEC is not happy with the price of a barrel of crude so they cut production. The blenders might have a hard time justifying an increase, but I doubt they'll lower prices either.

It's clear that those who refine to finished product are never going to build capacity toward lower prices. The OPEC and other folks can pump all the oil they want, but the refiners have to create gluts of their own product for prices to come down and I don't believe they intend to do that ever again.

Motor oil is still cheap.

I just bought two jugs of Mobil Clean 5000 for $11/each at Wally World.

I think they did come down slightly a few weeks ago after that big increase.

Right now Shell oil 5 qts., and a filter at Pep Boys for $9.99 is the best deal going..............

I called peps and they say limit of 2 per cust and you have to buy some "ProLine" filter.

I have enuf WIX filters to last about 3 years. Im looking to pick up like 3 or 4 case or something to replenish my stock.

Seems lately all the deals on oil include the filter. PB had Pennzoil YB on Black Friday for $1.99/qt but that isn't going to help you now.

5 qts of name brand oil and a Purolator filter for 10 bucks and you're complaining?

No. It just doest work for me

A) Limit of 2 per cust.. Not even a full case
B) I have maybe 12 or 13 WIX 51515's in the garage from another websites group buy.

I hate "shopping" and like to have stuff on hand. So ya.. im complaining
