My house is at 3,600 feet. The snow in the Hualapais is at least a couple thousand feet higher up. I have not been able to see the Cerbats because of the clouds. We always appreciate rain here in the desert.

That is neat to see the snowline. We've only got about 300-350' of elevation changes visible in our area, going up from ~400' asl and often we will get a bit more snow or freezing rain at the top of the hills, but rarely a sharp snow line.
Palomar mountain in San Diego County very near to where we lived and even closer to work got 10 to 12 inches of snow. That is more than we got all winter at our new home in Northern Indiana.
