I couldn't help it myself, as I like listening to heavy metal, so it's hard to find regular radio stations that will play it.

XM radio, meh

We use our streaming services with ATT on iPhone for everything, radio, music, talks shows, around the world programs, navigation, Waze, Viber, etc. etc;
XM radio does not come even close; We have multiple subscriptions and I don't need another one...

Also, your data offerings/services on your cell is getting cheaper and more accessible almost every day; I'm sure it is not for everyone but it works for us

Your cellphone will be absoluteness useless (even for a phone call)

So unless you download music XM is your only option.

BTW-there are MANY PLACES in the West like this......

I called SiriusXM today given my promo period is up the first of the year and I would have defaulted to their full rate. Went the 'I'd like to cancel my service please' route. Got transferred to the typical 3rd world call center. Agreed to a plan where I'm at $7.02/all in per month for a year. I was under 5mo/$25 deal.

There are 4-5 music channels I really like on XM. Can't stand the commercials and most of the "personalities" on the radio these days. I don't think satellite radio is awesome, but it's better than FM IMO. I do stream from time to time but hate fiddling with my cell phone in the car.

In my 2011 Durango with the "Premium" alpine stereo (which I thought sucked), each channel on SiriusXM had different quality... Faction on 41 sounded okay, but Octane on 37 sounded awful. But in my previous Kia, everything sounded better than FM. And now in the 300 everything sounds pretty good, though HD FM sounds better.

SXM was a lifesaver when I took a week longer trip to Georgia. It was all country and gospel, I couldn't find a rock station to save my life.
