So-you used it on vacation. What do you listen to now? After on the last vacation where we had no cell service 30-40% of the journey, I let it expire. I cancelled the month before. Now I get a daily email for $5 a month + 63¢ a month in royalties and taxes. Probably didn't listen more than a couple hours a month.

Ok-Great. SO you are paying for a service.YouTube music Premium . Which is part of YouTube Premium = no ads
I cancelled my Sirius a month before the deadline. It was still active on my last vacation. YouTube without ads is worth more than they charge IMW. The YT Premium music is used a lot on walks and in the bedroom at night. Now in the car too.Ok-Great. SO you are paying for a service.
Putting the Maverick Hybrid in Sport Mode and listening to the fake shifts, Coyote exhaust and intake sounds can be entertaining.So-you used it on vacation. What do you listen to now?
You’re paying too much! I’ve got it for $5.24 a month. Need to negotiate.I'm sure many or most of you that subscribe to Sirius XM already know this, but for those that don't....
I received an email from Sirius XM two months ago advising me that my subscription will automatically renew in August for one year at $23.05 per month. No further reminders of course as most people will forget and not act so far in advance, but I keep it on my calendar. So today I engaged their chat box on their website and said that I would re-subscribe only if I can get the same price I had this past year. I doubt a reason is needed, but I nonetheless said that I only use it in one car and often get drop outs here where I live in the mountains (true), and so their renewal price was not worth it.
Within minutes they came back with a price of $7.35/month including all taxes and fees for the same service for one year, a 68% discount and actually a little below this past year's price.
I do this every year and never have a problem, whether on the phone or through the chat box. The chat box saves me the struggle of dealing with a heavy foreign accent and eliminates much of the small talk. Be sure to keep the renewal date on your calendar. I'm sure they make a fortune on the people who forget until they notice two months of billing at list price on their credit card.
Sirius keeps bombarding my mailbox with $4/month offers all the time.
The trial lapsed on my Genesis last winter and I waited and got a letter from them offering 2 years for $5 a month, no cancellation fees or contract, so I signed up.
I always engage a rep on the chat and tell them I wish to cancel. After a couple of times repeating this, I get their best offer. That's just the game you've got to play with them.
I was able to use a 3 months for $6 promo twice. Then they were going to charge $30 for a premium plan. I told them I am not interested and to cancel, after going back and forth they got me to $6 a month. I thought I was getting a good deal at $6/mo but now I see you guys with $3, $4, and $5 / mo plans makes me want to renegotiate! After the recent three-month freebie, they're offering $5 a month for 12 months.
Now that I got $99/3 yrs, I want below $3/mo if nothing comes to renew and I have to call.I was able to use a 3 months for $6 promo twice. Then they were going to charge $30 for a premium plan.
