Seeking any/ all comments on this salvage fifth wheel travel trailer

I drove a class 8 truck for many years. I found the highest point on my truck and laid a 2x4 across it, turned on its side. That added a bit over 3 inches. I measured the height at the top of my new "highest point". Using that as my guide I never once had a clearance problem anywhere I drove. I don't understand how people can wreck things due to height issues.

Not paying attention is one way.

edit: Friends have a 5th wheel, a 2006 30' Keystone Cougar (top of the line, I'm told) and I can't believe how nice it is.
It would've been $80K new and they bought it in '2018 for $12K
I must conclude nice ones are out there and affordable.
You say you just hatched this backup plan..?? You got time to do some research.

You must inspect a passed over unit carefully.
