Comments from seller.. price is @ 3.5K..
-Very small bits of rust here and there, but nothing major.
-All other exhaust (up pipe, down pipe, etc.) is stock and original.
-No, no coil pack replacement.
-Brakes - around 50%...not sure on rotors. Front rotors are probably good, rears seem to go quicker, but I just haven't checked.
Recalls-not done the control arm recall, though I have the paperwork. My plan was to get it inspected, then bring it in, because I didn't want to get into with dealership trying to sell me more service then i needed pre-inspection. I did have the cold weather fuel line TSB taken care of years ago.
Black Trunk-replaced 6 months ago or so. Noticed rust streaks running down the back of the original trunk and when I took a closer look I saw that the holes in the trunk where the spoiler was mounted has rusted badly, and it was dumb luck that was holding the spoiler on. The original spoiler was installed at the dealership I bought it at in RI, and they didn't install some rubber grommets, so over the years the holes rusted. The black trunk with spoiler was the only used one I could find at the time (came from Florida) and since I couldn't find silver, I figured black was good enough. I had just put some $2,000 into the service items listed in the ad, and just didn't want to spend anymore, the black trunk was the cheapest way out of that situation.
Fuel Tank Leak - If you fill the tank, the leak is pretty bad. I would not recommend filling the tank above 1/2 until it's fixed. The leak is recent, maybe started 3-4 months ago. Less then 1/2 a tank, no real leak to speak of.
Selling it - I have no money to put into it and replacing the gas tank is beyond my ability. No CEL, no knock, runs very well. Oil always changed every 5,000 miles with synthetic oil. Car has been well loved and well maintained, but it does have 186,000 miles on it, so it's no spring chicken. If I wasn't broke, I wouldn't sell it, I love the thing. Still, the interior is in very good shape, and it runs very well and it a lot of fun to drive. No issues shifting, sometimes the clutch chatters when starting from a stop when it's cold. It has the factory short shift kit. I was driving it as of two months ago without issue.
It also had the ECU reflased by KTR performance in Ayer, Mass using ECUTek software. It was put on their AWD dyno and made approx 276 HP (at the crank, back calculated from wheel HP) with no other modifications.
