Looking for some advice on what would be a good next step for my situation. First some back story.
Two Fridays ago, I came home from work with a fine just fine rear window. I came out to the car later that evening to find the window completely shattered. I had the rear window replaced that following Monday by Glass America and the zero deductible full glass policy I carry with GEICO. A mobile installer came and did a fine job (I was completely satisifed, 100% spot on) replacing the window in my garage.
A few days later, I was listening to one of the local Canadian stations, 97.7 and noticed that whenever I put turned on the rear defrost, the signal was incredibly distorted with lots of static. I noticed this with every other channel too. With the defrost off, no problems. Also, one line of the rear defrost was not heating.
I called Glass America and they said it was probably a defective window, made an appointment to have it replaced, and it was done so today. Now the radio works fine, as does the defrost, but I now noticed tons of scratches and little pry chips around the window channel. See below. These were not there before, and I'm not in the least bit happy. I know it isn't a show car, or something rare, but [censored] I'm pi$$ed.
I really don't want to deal with these people again as my "replacement" installer and corresponding office personnel seemed frustrated that I was there. What would you all suggest? I guess I want it all fixed.
Call them up and explain the situation? Go directly to GEICO and get them to help me? Thanks.
