Windshield rock chip, replace or repair.

Both my Safelite ones they installed it the driveway. No issues with either one.

I think that is the default for Progressive insurance as far as installer. They want you to bring it in. I also think I had the choice of taking it to where ever I wanted.

Normally I would say try repairing a chip. I use the RainX kit, works really good and is pretty easy.

On these though, the crack is starting to radiate from the chip, there's no stopping it, it will eventually spread.

Unfortunately I have a 12 hour drive back home tomorrow but I have faith it won't break. The spot just to the left of the chip looks like a layer "delaminated" itself.
