Picked up a 2024 EB "Mustang." One thing I noticed is that the airbox/air filter housing is not very snug on the filter. It's secured by two plastic tabs on one side towards the motor that fit into slots and 3 clips on the front towards the bumper. It didn't feel very good when putting it on after changing the filter. If I pull it every so slightly the tabs dislodge out of their holes. Is this normal?

Congratulations on the Mustang. I need an air filter as well, I wonder if I will see the same thing?
That's a stock photo from a used part on eBay, mine's the same. I thought it was weird too but they leave a part of the filter gasket exposed on the engine facing side....How did the old filter fit? Try another one is worth a shot.......

I don't think so. 2024 has a different airbox setup. 18-23 have what appears to be a sturdier, normal airbox design, although with the weird sharkfin part on the filter.
