Rx7 FD oil pressure

Rx7 FD. New to me. Modified large single turbo. No OMP with premixed fuel. Aftermarket pressure sensor

I did an oil and filter change. Oem filter and Castrol Gtx 10w40. Since the change I’m getting low oil pressure on warm idle. Was 2 bar now at 1.6 bar

Was going to switch to valvoline Vr1 20w50 to see if the brought the pressure up.
Was told it was 2 bar minimum for the bearings.

Any opinions or insight.

I doubt that will change the pressure indication much . You need to connect an actual test pressure gauge to verify the pressure. I would believe if pressure were low, you would be hearing some knocking and clattering. If you indeed have low pressure. the pump and bearings need to be checked.

Both the oem gauge and the Dfei gauge are showing the same drop in pressure. I believe it is just within tolerance but I’m just trying to figure out what may be causing it

No leaks? The oil filter is on tight? How does it behaving after warming up completely ?

No leaks, oil filter on correctly. Low pressure on hot idle. Not noticeable on cold idle. Gone from 2bar to 1.6 bar

I don’t know what oil was in it. May have been 20w50 at the heaviest. 20w50 not very common here as it’s not very warm
