There is no UOA area for methanol fuel, but that's what this is with touch or Quick-16 VP race fuel as a primer. Not mixed two system.
15:1 565cid 1000hp injected drag race engine Runs 7.5's @ 178 on HP and 7.20@ 182 with mild NOS plate

I'm going to try extended with this RP as the cost is now an issue so going to get what I can from it. I'm thinking 40 more then test again.

Anyone know for sure what the CST at SUS 210F is for virgin sample of XRP 10W-40 AND why mine got thicker?

Greetings Florida racer! Dang I do miss Florida! I wanna go home! Anyways, back to our program, I cain't believe how well this oil held up. I figured 40 runs and it would be toast. TBN of 10.2 and insolubles in spec. What oil was run on 03/08/08? Pb jumped but that has gotta be from the fuel. I am thinking the oil you tested last March is the same brand and viscosity. Just that it was run longer. And you said you were gonna do 80 runs next time? Should be about spent then. I think that would be too many runs. What are others in your class changing their oil at? I really hate to tell you to switch oils in the name of price when you have a winner right here. Maybe you could buy in bulk. And run her out to 65-70 runs to allow a safety margin. And by the way thanks for sharing this data. Not often we get thrown bones like this to chew on!

Oh and if you did not change a thang with fuel, then my review of your UOA is junk. If that lead spike ain't from fuel...of course the fuel company could have changed thangs without telling you.

Oh and how about a pics of this beast at full tilt boogie. You know so we can put a face with her name. Video would be nice...

Hi Camu.

I dropped the oil but filtered it back into 1 gal containers and will pour it back in a run 40 more runs. The used paper towel as a strainer in a funnel and it came up spotless. I was ready to change it but based on test results plan to forge ahead. Do you see anything that would make you suggest 80 is too many from my test above???

Pretty sure the lead is the fuel. My main bearing are coated and tin would be way up and I'd see stuff in my filter.

The 3/08 sample was XRP 10W-40 but with my other engine almost like this one but 555cid and a tad less power.

thanks and have fun

How many quarts does she hold? Also what filter are you running? I would love to see how well AMO would hold up in the heart of this juggernaut. Ah well the RP is working good. I wanna say go 65 runs but's lets see what the soon to be chiming in experts say...

It's a 1 qt pleated SS mesh 30 micron filter made by System 1. FULL flow filter, without need to bypass, but at 30 microns so limited to big hunks lol

6 in the pan, 2 in the 3qt accumulator and 1 in filter.

I do hope the other experts chime in.

A buddy said I should be testing for TAN

For the use this oil saw, I'd say it did really, really well. Stayed in grade, has a strong flash, and TBN is good. The first two are important for a race engine. Thnaks for great pictures - I've read your used oil analysis before, and was aways curious what the car actually looked like!

Have fun!!!
