If it was RP what you saw was a gallon( 4qt )jug of 15W-40. It is the only RP fluid to come in a gallon jug. Only other options are qt bottle, 5 gallon pail, and 15 gallon containers in their auto fluids. I am pretty sure they used to offer their ATf by the gallon but it isn't available anymore. RP does not come in 5qt jugs.
FYI - $35 for a gallon jug = $8.75 p/qt and is no bargain.
