It's a tad frustrating.

Advanced Auto carries it, (at least the new store that just got built in our town does).

With my original 2V in the Mustang I tried RP 5w30 for one oil change (the engine got Mobil 1 5w30 exclusively beforehand), it did exactly the same for me; went pitch black very quick.

Interesting, takes a couple of thousands miles for Mobil 1 to go black
in my truck.

There are two places you can buy them from online. The links are on the oil filter page on their website.

Thanks y'all. I want to try them.
Our AAP should get them too, then in a few years. Iowa is a bit behind on that kind of thing. Nearest Pep Boys is more than 300 miles away and doesn't ship.

Its on sale right now at Schucks, $39.99 for 5qts and a K&N filter!!! Youd pay more than that for just the oil! Amazing price. going to stock up!

I agree, my engine is quieter, smoother, etc. than any other oil tried. Checker/O'Reilly (same as Schucks?) has the same sale....$39.99 for 5qts and the K&N filter. Picked up 2 oil changes for future use! I'm convinced that Royal Purple is a top quality oil. I'm going to put it in the boat (5.7 Mercruiser) next year and see how it runs.

Cheapest place I`ve seen to buy RP is on Ebay. I bought a case awhile back for $6 a quart w/free shipping.

i agree this is garbage that you still cant find the rp filters anywhere but pep boys wut in the world is rong with with these peaple doo you here me autozone / orylies anyone?

RP is not [censored], but it's certainly not worth the price premium it carries. I'll agree their marketing is very good. Looking at their technical data it's fairly obvious that their products are mediocre.

Our local NAPA also carries it.

That was back around 2002, before I learned a thing about oil other than what I read on the bottle. I ended up dumping it after about 4500 miles and going back to Mobil 1. Thinking back, I should have done a few runs with RP to see if it normalized. Mobil 1 had me hooked hardcore back then.

They pulled the data from the website, and have refused to respond to my emails requesting a PDS.
I'm done with RP oil. I want to try the filters and call it a day.
