Rotors for 2019 Subaru Impreza Sport

I agree man. If I have to get OEM when it is time, I have no issue with that. Was just looking for something that would hold up better with rust. I got OEM put on my Legacy when it was time. Didn't want to mess around with anything else. For the Impreza, I would do OEM pads too but I got these EBC lying around and would rather use them than let them go to waste.
EBC does do their GeoMet or whatever it is, plus the black coating. On my 05 Outback I found the black looked cool at first but didn’t hold up thru Midwest winters FWIW. They ended up rusting, just took longer.

The dealer informed me that I need brakes soon. Apparently, I have 4mm on front and 5 on rear. They say some of the sound I am hearing is due to rusted rotors. Car only has 23k miles. I already have EBC yellow stuff pads for front and rear. Looking for a good replacement rotor. SOmething that is OE equivilent or better and hopefully coated. Not really looking for slotted or drilled.

Are there any suggestions that you guys think would be good options? Maybe EBC rotors too? Subaru is always an option but I would love to have something coated if possible, to combat some rust for a while. And if they perform better, I'm down. I'm also realistic. This car isn't a sports car regardless of it being called an Impreza Sport. It's slow was crap; especially compared to my S4.
Have you looked at Wildwood or dba (Disc brakes Australia)? They have some rotors that aren't slotted/dimpled. I thought EBC has blank rotors that are made in the UK?

If you're going with oem I've read that cryo treating them helps with the longevity. How aggressive are the ebc yellow pads?

I have not looked at dba. Never heard of Wildwood. My friend who has a WRX today was asking me about dba. I have them on the rear of my S4 and they are slotted. I can't tell you how they perform. That car just sits since I can't legally drive it until I re-register it and then get it inspected, which will fail due to a CEL.

It looks like EBC is going to GEN 3 which is silver with a silver hat. GEN 1 was black and GEN 2 was silver with a black hat.

I would love to get a geomet cryo treated rotor. They yellow are supposed to be street/track but I have never used them so I can't give you any impressions or opinions. They were recommended by the EBC rep when I won the contest.
