RIP Dean Daughtry

He was one of the original members and a co-founder of The Atlanta Rhythm Section. He played piano and keyboards and helped write a lot of their hits. He had to retire a couple of years ago but it is still very sad that he is gone now. I grew up listening to ARS in Georgia in the 70's and they are still one of my all-time favorite bands now. RIP.

I loved ARS when I was a kid. I feel they never got the recognition they deserved. I never knew where Doraville was but now I live just down the road from there. It also happens to be one of my favorite songs by this band.

Let's celebrate the life of Dean and raise a glass and have a Champagne Jam!

One of my favorite songs by them. Lucky enough to have seen them also many times. They are all (original guys) gone now.
