Returning to aquarium hobby

I've read of arowana actually smashing through glass lids and breaking tanks.

That is a nice looking flowerhorn. I'd love to keep something like that, but they're best kept in tanks bigger than what I have.
 
Yeah arowana’s are known to be jumpers, in nature they jump out of the water to catch prey. We had one at one point and it did exactly as you described, very fast and loved to jump.

Gorgeous flower horn though! I’ve dealt with ich a few times… always after adding new fish. Always had good luck with the API ich cure+crank the temperature, only problem is you have to remove your activated carbon in your filter and it turns the water a wicked shade of green.
I’m dealing with that now . It suck . I got 2 tank . So I can’t cross contaminate , have to buy another separate water changing and bucket

He got bunch of ich spot and you still say he look nice . I’m waiting for that “ look nice “ lol thanks in advance
