Does the oil analysis between the two show any appreciable difference between QS Syn. and Penn. Syn, is the latter worth the $4 price difference at Walmart for 5 qt jug.

I would think the difference is less than before if both are G5 / SN rated oils ...the cleaning ability of the new oils is improved .

unless you are driving a super car, you don't see much difference between the 2 on an ordinary joe's vehicle on a conservative OCI (and not driven hard).

One assumes you are talking about Pennzoil?

Both QSUD and PP are dexos1 approved and licensed in 5w-30 if that means anything to you. I have used both with equal results. QSUD gets my nod at the moment because it is less expensive. Last timeI checked it was $20.50/5qts. at walmart. PP runs a few $ more. FWIW-Oldtommy

I just posted a VOA of QSUD SN in 5w-20: QSUD VOA

You can probably search to see if there are any Platinum VOAs (I assume this is the Pennzoil synthetic to which you refer as I think Ultra is more than $4 higher than QSUD?).
