PYB or MS5K you pick I use!

07 Kia Spectra EX 54K. Driven 95% stop and go. Which oil is the better selection?

Go with Pennzoil platinum for just a small difference in price. Usually $32 at parts stores gets you a good oil filter too!!

MS5K is at a much better price point here in Ohio. Vote goes there.

PYB is using up leftover GTL stocks so it's a better oil than MS5K. Without that knowledge, it would be a toss-up between the two.

There isn't really a "better" IMO but I'd pick the PYB if only to avoid the sodium add pack in the Mobil.

Save the dollar and get the mobil! PYB is great, but wont do a better job than the mobil can.

MS5K. If you want a more traditional additive chemistry, Mobil Special has huge calcium and trinuclear moly. It sells for 3.19/quart at Target.

Either really. I have used SOPUS products long before they were owned by Shell and I have not had a oil related engine failure in so many miles I do not care to recount.

But both are good choices go by availability and price.
