Am getting an oil change today (Wednesday). I've been using The Signature brand 10W30. I pull a landscape trailer May until early December.

Am scheduled to use Signature 5W30, but wondering if I should go the Extended Life route.

I live in Southern Ontario.

Thanks for any advice.

If I am buying Amsoil, I really don't see the point of buying anything other than their Signature Series.

Then again, I live in the US and there are plenty of quality oils available at Walmart for under $6/qt that are extremely comparable to Amsoil's Extended Life (and below) products.

Extended life is fine you are changing spring and fall. 5W-30 winter, 10W-30 summer sounds fine.

Any pics of the Kia towing your trailer? Not sure I've ever seen a Kia towing. No hate, just curious.

I'm looking for a specific pic. Google Maps (if that's what it's called) took a pic of me driving on a street in Picton, ON. Also another pic in a different year parked on the street in Picton ON. Am still looking...

I went with Amsoil Signature Series 5W30.
HOWEVER, the also installed Lucas Stabilizer against my instructions. I watched a couple of videos by "The Motor Oil Geek" who says it merely heavy oil without any additives.
Am going to talk to them next week about draining and refilling with 5W30.

Who would do such a thing? I’d be upset too.

This is like handing you a perfectly cooked, aged beef, steak. And then the waiter gives you a fork with a spec of dog turd on it.
