Good weather coming next week so got the lawn mower and pressure washer topped up with high octane 99 RON stuff.
With high octane does that mean i cut grass faster and get more pressure from pressure washer? Lol

Iv added the briggs and Stratton fuel stabiliser to it but fuel be all used up in 2 months anyways.

I've never used high octane. Just 87 with stabilizer added. Just my 2 cents.
+1

All grades of fuel in my area have E10 fuel, so there is no point to running higher octane. In some areas you can get 93 without ethanol, but nowhere around here.

Probably wouldn't have to worry about it bogging down in heavy grass.
Saying that the grass has got quite high now since its been raining every day for the last 2 months.
Got 2 weeks of dry weather so gonna use the chance to cut it.

Why not buy a 21” or 22” mower with a larger engine to begin with? Honda has an available large CC 21” mower as does Snapper

Not enough grass to cut. Small garden i used to use the manual mower but way too lazy these days

I use 91 in my push mower.

That's the readily available ethanol free gas by me.

If we had 87 non ethanol around that's what I would use in my push mower.

For what reason?

Tell us what a higher octane rating does for your lawnmower.
Less chance of pre ignition, cooler running, more power, more cutting per gallon (cpg), lower emissions, less smoke, less noise, and few others i cant remember at the moment
