Reclaimed Oil for push mower.

I do. The used oil goes in free mowers that I accumulate that don't even know if they'll start. No point in topping off a mower that turns out to be a dud with new oil I paid money for. Then once I know they run I'll dump what's in there and fill it up with more used oil, run it enough to test it out, dump it again and fill it with new oil. That way I'm only putting new oil that costs money in known good mowers.
Ho do you accumulate free mowers lol?

Very simple. Just go " Trash pickin" in upscale neighborhoods in the fall. You'd be amazed the good stuff rich people throw out. In the spring, you get their perfectly good 2 stage snow throwers. I've done it. 90% of the time it's just a plugged up air filter on the mowers. On the snow throwers, usually a bad carb from getting snow in the gas tank. Easy Peasy. You just gotta know when " bulk" trash goes out for pick up. You call the town, find out the schedule, and BAM !!!!!

How is it "filthy oil" when I oil test it and it comes back in at least fair condition besides some fuel dilution and viscosity loss?
Cause obviously you never done a UOA On the “oil”. Even an idiot like me knows a little about oil. Guessing And being cheapskate won’t save you forever. Like tossing band aid on a deep laceration

Snow blowers! Lawn mowers! Bahaha!

What are you talking about I've never done a UOA? I do them almost every oil change on my wife's car.
Most of the reclaim oil I use come from her car.

Here's the UOA I never did on my wife's car. An example of oil that I do reuse.

Here's a UOA I never did on my Nissan leaf, an example of oil I would not reuse in another engine.
Since it's transmission fluid it's the wrong viscosity for one and it's got some forbidden glitter in it. Totally unsuitable for use even as flush oil.

So what. You didn’t post every

So what. I can care less about your bs about using dirty used oil. You aren’t convincing me or anyone here to use used oil in a trash find piece of OPE. don’t flatter yourself on being cheap. You even asked if your wife’s car is totaled which we all know it probably is. You basically post click bait stuff and brag about using see oils. Big deal.

Oh it definitely is I sent off the title to get the salvage one. So how does that matter?
It seems you do care. I think you have posted on here a dozen times so far.
If you hate this you're really going to hate my generation 2 reclaim oil.

Well we can’t help all the slow people. Enough said. He has no idea what he is doing plain and simple. He posts this garbage for effect and replies. Very sad and disgusting.
If I have no idea what I'm doing then why is it working so well?
Its saving money and reducing the used oil I have to eventually get rid of.
That was the only point.
If you're going to be replying to yourself have your alter ego or yourself wait more than an hour between replies, makes the dialog a little more convincing.

The fact that you admit that sometimes you see metal or shiny bits in this “reclaimed fluid” scares me honestly. You claim it works so well but we never see proof. If it works for you good for you. I may take the HPL 5w-30 HDEO out of the Dakota at 12k and dump it in my 09’ Focus with 302k on it. Maybe I’m nuts

IF I see any metal it's automatic combustion grade, that means burn it and not in an engine, like I soak fire wood in it. I can't see any metal in the oil that comes out of my wife's car or the dodge.
Stuff that has metal in it is oil that comes out of mowers without oil filters, diffs, transfer cases, brand-new engines, my leafs transmission, diesel engine oil that's blacked out even with no metal are all combination grade.
I do have my waste oil burner project. That will burn up a year worth of my oil in maybe 2 cold days.

I agree. All my mower's have no oil filter's. The newer ones spit out more shiny shavings as they break in, then slow down to almost nothing visible to the naked eye, once there broken in. BUT, that doesn't mean there still aren't shavings in the oil. I mean, no filter, you're gonna get shavings no matter what size they are.

Yeah but they're tiny. I did an experient where I took a brand-new predator 459cc ran it, decided I'd add a filter. The oil was quite glittery. I added a hydraulic filter without changing oil on I believe the ratios were 1000=20 and 75=12 rated for 10 so it's probably stopping most of the metal down to 5 or 6 microns. I could still see metal flakes, there was about 80% less of them

Great idea :) ....... I'll add a filter to my 15.5 hp Briggs Rider engine. Now all I need is a kit to do it. Any ideas out there where I can get a hold of a kit for a 15.5 hp Briggs vertical engine ??? Plenty of room to add one.

Well you have convinced me to dump my HPL 5w30 CK-4 HDEO in the 11’ or 09’ Focus when it hits 12k in my Dakota.
