Purolator bypass?

Could someone please explain to me about the bypass valve on the Purolator 14610 (for example) is it at the dome end? it seems different than Fram or ST that has a spring on the dome end. Based on this picture i'm guessing it's on the dome end also?

Yes, the bypass is on the dome end on the Purolator 14610. There are some photos floating around someplace of the bypass ... it's the flat "45 record adapter" spring design for the 14610s.
