I keep seeing this product advertised online. What is it actually? Is it any good? Base stock? Just looking for info I know most products like it are nonsense but I am genuinely curious. Thanks everyone
OKI keep seeing this product advertised online.
Good Question!What is it actually?
I guess you could do some investigation! Is it any good?
Really!Base stock?
What you can do is go to Google and post this Pro thing and then Bitog and see what comes up!Just looking for info I know most products like it are nonsense but I am genuinely curious.
Interesting when I did a search nothing relevant came up not sure if I didn’t search correctly or what the deal is but thank you for the infoThe additive Prolube? If so there are a few existing threads on this additive, mostly in the additive section. There are some more if you look around.
Is anyone familiar with prolube oil additive? Its become popular on my tiktok page and they offer similar claims to Motorkote without the chlorinated component.
I tried to look and see if anyone had discussed this before because I didn't want to beat a dead horse if it had. Attached are the pages of the MSDS. I'm sorry its on separate pages.
I'm just curious if anyone has used it or know if it works?

First ever oil analysis on my Odyssey J35Y7 engine, and thought I’d share.
This sample did have 6 ounces of the infamous Prolube Oil Treatment added at 1 ounce per quart. Amsoil Oil filter EA15K13.
Note: engine is very quiet, sometimes when I stand just outside the driver door talking to my wife I have to ask her if the vehicle is running or not. Not sure if that’s exactly a testament to the additive, or just a very good oil and maintenance history, but I believe I will continue to use it. Thanks for checking it out!

I remember seeing a video from them a while back saying it is not chlorinated. This is a chlorinated additive, correct?
This is no reason for this product to be added to PCMO because it adds nothing to your PCMO that is not already in it, as are most third party additives.I keep seeing this product advertised online. With so much of the composition being listed as a trade secret on the SDS I'm not sure how one could tell. As someone who used to write MSDS for a living I especially question the 1% that is listed as "Aquatic Chronic 3 H402".I remember seeing a video from them a while back saying it is not chlorinated.
