Prinx HiSeason 4S

I've been looking at tires for our Honda Pilot. Especially all weather tires, with the 3 peak mountain snowflake. I'm seeing new marketing of tires with this rating, but mostly with a $250 to $300 price point (for our size). The Prinx tire is not priced like that, so it's on the short list so far. Your posting, and Slick's too, have got my interest. Thanks greatly.

You have any new comments to provide?
No updates however will add once I get winter experience.

The OE Michelins on my brother’s 2022 Blazer are starting to crack on the sidewalls and asked me for advice on whether to keep running them or replace. I sent him some all-weather recommendations and he decided to give the Prinx Hiseason 4S a try. They will be mounted later this week.

First storm with rough plowing of loose few inches of snow/icing on a 2013 Acura RDX. They are decent in this hard condition but don’t touch a candle to CrossClimate2 I also drove today on our Tiguan. The thing is no way are the CrossClimate2 improvement worth the $700 more in my size. Very happy with these tires.

I will update for deeper snow.

I purchased four of these from Walmart in October for my 2019 Lexus ES350. I was wanting a three peak mountain snowflake tire that had a more traditional look. Believe it or not the tires I replaced were the Michelin Cross Climate 2 which are supposed to be the best. The Michelin's were extremely loud at 7 or 8 32nds tread depth. They drove well, gripped well, and even went through some snow well. But I couldn't get over the loud droning noise all the time.

So far the Prinx HiSeason 4S tires have been phenomenal! They ride very quiet, smooth, and they all balanced well. We haven't had any snow for me to drive these through yet but based on the unique tread design I bet they do pretty good. In the sun and rain these tires ride great. I just finished a road trip from Nebraska to Illinois and back and they rode excellent on the interstates. Overall these all weather (not all season) tires have done exceptionally well. Now, you add in they only cost $93/each, and the deal only becomes sweeter. Mine were manufactured in Jube of 2025 in Thailand.

So far count me very pleased. I almost look forward to the next snow storm so I can give them a winter/snow test!

Update, these tires perform incredibly well in deep fluffy powder 25”+ coupled to 13 Acura RDX. Also great on snow packed highways and even 4” loose but sanded snow driving up ski hill access road .

Can recommend the winter rating rating of these all weathers in snow conditions.
