Hankook Kinergy PT Review

Was about to buy a set between either Kinergy PT vs Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack, and I am glad I ran into this thread. So far based on what I see on the PT it seems like the review is very bi-polar between different sizes. All the 18+ inch low profile (<50) tires are horrible review yet the 16 and >60 profile ones are great. I think that's really why people have both good and bad experience with this and I guess YMMV here.

Well, currently it seems like I can get the Bridgestone QuietTrack slightly cheaper so that makes the choice easy for me. If it is the other way around I probably would have to think more about it.

Had these on my old ranger and was very pleased with them and just bought another set to replace them. The ones I received were made in Korea and not the USA if that is important to anyone. Made in September of this year size 235/75/15.
Just bought another set for another Ranger same size also made in September 25, but these were made in the USA. Got the last set from Amazon and this one from Walmart. They're currently on sale on both sites fwiw.

I have about 60k miles so far on a set of U.S.-made Kinergy PT H737. No problems yet.
I'm looking for a set of 185/65r15 for my 2007 Prius and have these Hankook Kinergy PT H737 on the radar. Besides treadwear, how is the braking and cornering on wet driving like?

I haven't had any problems in that regard, but have no way to test them against other comparable tires. As best I can recollect, magazine tests have shown them to be at least mid-pack. Wet braking capability will decline with wear for any tire.
