This same time next year we will begin to see more Blackstone UOA reports on the new SN rated Dinos . While you probably can't go wrong with any of the majors - Pennzoil conventional looks to have the edge in cleaning as well as wear protection in the SN formulation . As long as they stay price competitive (below $15.00 5 qrt jug) Pennzoil conventional will probably hold the top spot. If Pennzoil conventional creeps up to that $15.00 mark some customers will jump up to the $19.00 Quaker State Ultimate Durability / Mobil Super Synthetic while others will drop back to the $12.00 QS Green Bottle or Mobil Super 5000 .

IMO...When Pennzoil conventional goes up in price, which it will, all the others will go up in price accordingly.

IMO....With the price of crude going up daily, these current prices might be at historically low levels, from hereon into the future.

Pennzoil conventional, Valvoline conventional, Castrol WB, Formula Shell, QS, Havoline and all the other quality Conventional oils will rise in price.

Amen to that. I'm enjoying the synthetic oil i find for sale @ $20 for a 5q jug. It ain't gonna be that way for too long.

Since I get 6 Quarts of Mopar Branded Pennzoil Conventional and a Mopar Branded Purolator for the equivalent of $20 (Service Contract) and have stock piled Mobil 1 SM I got even cheaper I think I will stick to that.

Mobil clean 5000 ( new jug at walmart ), or QS green bottle still got my vote for best price and good protection for conventional oil ^^.
