Premium Guard, will you guys use it?

Hi all, a local distributer selling the Premium Guard Oil Filter for $1.54 each with one case minimum.
I have 95 Camry which take L14476. I am using 14477 size and plan to use 22821 size. Premium Guard has 22821 size and I figure if I only use this filter in summer, it will be ok since 22821 is huge compare to 14476 even they use cheaper filter paper. Am I right?

You can buy rebadged Purolators at Advance Auto for $1.44 as there inhouse brand.(Buy one for $2.88, get one free), seems like a better deal. Unless there are no AAs in your area.

AA filter are great, but they don't have 22821 size and they have some red paint metal flakes outside the filter...

I"ll take the plunge. If you're not using some sort of high end filter like the M1 or the Amsoil, what does it matter? As long as the basic construction is there, aren't they all about the same? We go on about Wix vs Pulator vs etc., but even with Fram I really haven't heard of any horror stories lately.
