One thing that is interesting is that most of the PAO based oils in the 5w40 range all look about the same in the 2.0FSI (although GC and some of the Motul products do show somewhat less shear than typical 502 oils from what I have seen). There is a Dyson post somewhere on BITOG saying roughly the same thing also (in regards to the BMW DI engine as I recall). One might say those PAO oils were built "down" to a spec. (or "up" depending on your perspective). And that may be perfectly adequate in some cars but may not be for a fuel-diluting DI turbo. The M1 15w50 would be outside of the range of what we typically see so it would be interesting.
 
Im going to be pulling a 6K run from my MS6 in about a month and sending it off to Dyson. Of course I will post up the statistical data for everyone. Next run Im expecting to be about 7500 on the same RLI 5w40.
