All values good, "A very nice report for your 4.6L".

Vehicle has 71,000 miles, sticking pretty close to the 5k OCI ever since I bought the car with 31k miles on it. Have always used Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20, Purolator Pure One oil filters, Purolator Pure One air filters. Last oil change was in Nov. 2007.

I drive this car on a 72 mile (round-trip) commute 5 days a week, each way about 80% of the trip is rural 2-lane highway 65-70 mph sustained, and 20% is somewhat stop-and-go, 35-50 mph. My driving habits generally tend to be spirited - the car is equipped with a custom dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers, and I love to hear her sing.

Looks good.

Did you see my 10,170-something UOA on an 04 Gramp Marquis with Pennzoil platinum? You might want to consider going 10,000 miles with your combination.

One could not ask for better than this! I agree with the others you could most likely double this interval, easy if you chose. Very nice report, thanks for posting.

Excellent in every way. I agree you would see equally good results with double the miles - or with Pennzoil conventional at a 5k OCI.

I was very surprised at how clean the analysis turned out, especially considering how dirty the oil looked.

You guys are right, I could probably double the OCI and still be safe, but I am old school and this car is the first one I have ever used synthetic in. Old habits are hard to break, eh? LOL

02zx9r, thanks for the welcome!

Titan, I missed your post but will look it up and read it. I'm very interested in seeing what numbers a 10k OCI would produce. Thanks for the heads-up!
