Post your new battery purchase.

I wish you the best of luck. I just had two group 58's poop themselves one right after the other.58's.
Never again.
Good luck though🤞(y)

Must be a bad time for 58's.
A few weeks ago I had a 11 month old Walmart Plus, group 58 die on me, and left me stranded.
I had my jump box with me and could not start it.
Was nowhere near a Walmart, so I had to punt.
Ended up with a NAPA Legend battery $180. later.
Dealt with a very nice guy, he even insisted that I take the core with me (swapped in a junk one he had for the core at no additional charge.)
The NAPA is a much nicer battery, something like 725 CCA vs. the 550ish the Walmart Enhanced Performance battery had.
Starts my old truck with some authority.
Now have a core that I could take back for a free replacement, but I probably won't bother.
Presently somewhat down on WM batteries, at least in automotive applications.
Going back to the early 90's when Walmart came into our area and were selling batteries under the Champion name, I have purchased 8 batteries for automotive applications on something like 6 different vehicles.
Only one of the batteries did not have to be returned at least once under warranty.
Yes, I know that's anecdotal. However, it is a pattern, and it is my life experience.
I'll give credit where credit is due: I've had decent luck with their Deep Cycle and Lawn and Garden batteries.
Think I'm done with their Auto batteries, at least for awhile.

My DieHard Gold died. I purchased it in September of 2023. Luckily, I save all my receipts and that battery has a three year warranty. Took the battery and receipt back to AZ and got a new one. So now we are on battery three with a vehicle with 81k miles.

I would recommend buying an inexpensive Ancel BA101 battery tester. For the past 20 years I test my batteries every 3 to 6 months and have never been left stranded. I can catch a battery getting weak well in advance of failure. Battery testers are are not fool proof, and cannot predict all battery failure modes, but they can greatly increase your chances. The test takes less than 1 minute to set up and perform.

I have only purchased the Walmart Platinum AGMs. Four so far, all are working great.

I have a tester.
However, I never thought that I would need to continually test an 11 month old battery that was purchased with a same month sticker on it.
No sign of going bad. It just went blooey.
Like I said, my results with their auto batteries has been less than stellar, to say the very least.
I'm now 3 of 4 on the NAPA Legend batteries, and all have functioned well.
Guess that's my new go to. They just perform.

I test them reguardless. Trust but verify. :) My Tundra battery was cranking perfectly, but on the tester showed it suddenly dropped about 100cca, from the previous 4 months and displayed "weak" on one of my testers. I replaced it.

I just purchased a new Walmart EverStart Plus series T5 for my 2015 NIssan Versa yesterday. The previous Everstart Maxx T5 was installed Sept 2022. I believe it died somewhat early due to such little use of this vehicle. The vehicle just began being used regularly after a couple year hiatus. Out of the blue it barely had enough juice to crank the starter as my son was trying to leave for work.

Same here! The D/H Gold battery in my wife's 2019 Highlander just died slightly past the 3 yr. warranty date. Bought a new battery from Advance Auto and this time after all the scrolling and questions, they gave me a D/H Platinum with a 4 yr. warranty. This is also the third battery and now the second time she got stranded. The first time, she and my daughter had gone to a Taylor Swift concert at Metlife Stadium in NJ and realized the battery was dead just before going into the stadium. She called me, my son and I gathered up some tools, stopped at Advance Auto to grab a battery and off to the stadium we go. Talked to a Trooper at the gate, told him my tale of woe, showed him the battery and receipt and tools and he let us in. She was parked in the handicap section just outside the stadium due to a bad knee and we found a parking spot literally right next to her car. As soon as we park, Taylor hits the stage and the roar from the crowd was amazing. Took about 5 minutes to change the battery but we stayed about 45 listening to the concert.
The next time was just the other day outside the food store. Not nearly as memorable but I still come off the hero!

Yuasa 12v 7AH flooded lead acid. The one for motorcycles but this one goes to the UPS for my desktop computer. I've been using this type instead of the original sealed UPS battery for 2 decades now. Lasts 5 years vs the sealed original type that lasts only 2 years. I place it on the outside of the UPS, connects via g14 wires spliced to the short 12v power leads inside the UPS. Needs distilled water once every 2 years.

Everstart U1 300cca for my generator.

Last one, same as above, dated 11/2018 so hoping this one lasts as long, dated 05/2026.
