While walking through Walmart this evening, I came across Royal Purple 15w-40 Diesel oil in gallon jugs for $15. It meets the specs required for my Kubota. I bought all of them. I now have oil on the cheap for the next two oil changes. This will be going in my new Kubota L2502.

I've previously never used RP products due to cost...

In .. 15w40 Kirkland and Wix.

Alot of sludge so probably do a couple short runs.

• Out: Shell Rotella T6 15w40 and Yanmar D68XL65 oil filter

In: The same

23 Yanmar SA425; 213.7 hours, 15May2026.

• Out: Shell Rotella T6 15W-40 and Yanmar D68XL65 filter.
• In: @1 quart Rotella T6 15W-40 and a little under 3 quarts of Rotella T6 5W-40. Out of 15W-40 now. Oil filter used was Yanmar D68XL65. Tractor is happy.

Oil change on my 2014 Kioti CK30HST.
2 year oil/filter with Amsoil HDD 5w30 and oversize WIX filter. Out/In same with just under 150 hrs in 2 years, 810 hours on the tractor at time of oil change. HDD is discontinued but I’ve got enough for 5 more changes. I like the oil because my tractor starts easily with it in the winter without a block heater. Most of the hours are blowing snow, although the tractor is used year round…
