Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

Some OE Toyota 90915-10010 filters for the Prius and a XG7317 for the Civic. Oil wise, the latest buys were some 5w30 and 0w20 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum.

Top & bottom shelves in one of the smaller cabinets (oil @ bottom + few cleaning items above) in my front garage. My detailing cabinet is so big and full I did not even attempt a do a photo with my pathetic , ancient flip phone! I honestly JUST figured out how to do my camera download to computer today! Maybe one of my good days I will try it again. I can barley enter my back yard shop anymore. I let so much stuff get stored in there after my 1976 ChevelleTypeS3 left the premises around July 2019.

Its some kind of hard to go look in thru the shop side windows and see that big empty area where the cars n boats once resided. Just a part of aging that no one can escape , (giving up hobbies)especially if you end up with any health issues. I am slowly defeating lots of mine , yet at same time I am having a hard time accepting our ages....

Not being able to do lots of the physical work and so many fun physical activities I once did all the time is not easy to accept. Wife & I are 6 months apart in age , both near 70. We recently realized that near everyone we meet lately at car shows , concerts , theatres etc... all end up being much younger than we are! She has got to teasing on me because I am always quick to say "oh yeah, no doubt they are older than we are." She is quick with the snappy..... "NOT - You are WRONG!"

I saw some decent comments here about the EcoGard filters so I grabbed six X4610 filters for our Odyssey since they were on sale for around $2.50 each. I also grabbed a single S241 for the Lexus since the X241 was actually more expensive. For oil, I bought some 0W-20 Pennzoil Ultra and 5W-30 Restore and Protect I'm going to try in our Lexus.

From Rockauto:

Two closeout air filters and two Champ XL PH500 oil filters for the Mustang GT Convertible, 5.0 L V8.

Three Champ XL PH400 oil filters for the ZTR Toro Timecutter mower with Koehler engine.

From Walmart:

1 qt 5W-20 Supertech Full Synthetic High Mileage oil for a near future Frankenblend.

From Autozone:

2 qts 10W-30 STP Full Synthetic Hign Mileage oil for the Toro ZTR.

I just grabbed a Carquest Premium filter for the Corvette. I already had a Fram Endurance on hand but after hearing the bad stuff about it lately there is no way I could confidently use it. I have a Carquest that is less than 500 feet away from my place so it’s crazy that I never went to that store since I moved here three years ago! This filter was only $9.65 CDN with tax so it is way less than the FE anyway!

I can't get over all the stuff going around about folks finding issues with all (just about every single one) brands of oil filters. I been driving since the early 1970s and to this day I have not found ONE filter I deemed bad to use after looking them all over before installation.
I am just one of the lucky ones I have to suppose since I fully believe all the stories of bad filters! Just sad that folks are running across
filters they catch that have issues. I guess that is what we can expect with quality for just about everything in this "new world order" type of economy that some industrialist want to make happen. Well they have accomplished it already it appears. Nothing Made In American" anymore.

I think there is also closer examination going on now.
