For the first time I ordered motor oil on line, because my local Wal-Mart was out of it. (Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-40). Never again. It arrived 3 days late. The boxes were all in good condition. Of the 3, 5 quart jugs, 2 were fine, the other was leaking. Luckily they had it in a zip lock bag, or it would have been a real mess.
The leaking jug had a crack at the bottom of the handle, at the parting line of the blow mold. It most likely was thrown, and when it landed the oil itself hydraulically caused the jug to split open.
I put the leaking jug into a garbage bag, and drove to my local Wal-Mart, and they promptly gave me a refund. No more mail order oil for me. It's just not worth the risk or hassle.

Fedex tried to deliver a box from Walmart last month that contained 3 jugs of QS. Unfortunately for the driver I was home and outside when he stepped out of the truck with an oil soaked box. He got about 2 steps before I shut him down and told him to put it back in the truck since I was refusing it. The ensuing calls to Walmart were comical. This is after my last 2 orders of fluid film gallons went the exact same way. At this point I dont think anything liquid over 1 gallon is shipable
About 25 quarts total EDGE HM and EDGE 10w30. $2/quart at AUTOZONE
Have a bunch of oil on hand but here is the most recent purchase of oil with my filter stash.

I got a champ for the Cruze, added it on to a set of new TPMS sensors, cost me all of $2.14 Nothing special but for $2.14 and no increase in shipping I will call that a win. Couple that with the D1G2 full syn I got at Rural king for $10 and thats about as cheap an oil change as can be found.
The oil is stored in Sweetie's garage, and she wants no more of it. In fact, she "requested" that I remove 2-quarts of MaxLife ATF which I gave to her Son in Law.Shel, now I realize why you have no room for a quart of spare oil.

Thanks for the reminder. Went out today and picked up two Pennzoil Platinum 0W20 for $25 each, $15 each after rebate.
Last year I picked up Platinum High Mileage during the rebate, unfortunately it wasn't on sale this year so going back to the regular stuff... but might have a different car by the time I use it anyways so may be just as well.
Gee I went to AZ today to check on their big sale. I didn't get a thing all they had was 3 quarts of Mobil and it wasn't Mobil 1.
For my 17 yo's Lexus RX350...he's taking auto tech in HS and will be handling this one himselft over Thanksgiving break. $37 for the once a year change works with his budget

Super Tech 3506 oil filter for lady friends 2006 Chevy Impala 3.5L to pair with the Quaker State HM Synblend 5W30 five quart container I recently purchased. She is tight on money and I try to help her out as often as I can. Also purchased her 6 AC-DELCO Platinum spark plugs for her car -- plan on installing them tomorrow 11/27/2021 for her.
