There's a $20 rebate when you purchase 2 5 quart jugs or 10 quarts of PENNZOIL Platinum . Go to their site and click on OIL CHANGE COUPONS and OFFERS , then click Do It Yourself Oil Change and then Get Up To A $30 MASTERCARD Virtual Reward Card . Rebate is from 2/27/25 > 8/31/25 . There's also $30 rebate for the ULTRA PLATINUM .

I went to Lordco to pick up an oil filter for my SIL's 2013 Honda Fit. They've always just given me a Fram Extra Guard, which I am fine with, so I've never asked what they stock. This time, the parts guy asked what brand I wanted and when I asked what they had, he listed off about 10. I decided to try the Baldwin. I'm trying to buy Canadian but, absent that, I'm happy to pick up a decent quality US-made part rather than something from China.

This Fit has always had a diet of 0w20 but now that I'm in charge of the oil changes it's going to have 5w40 so I also picked up a jug of the Supertech 5w40 Euro.

Today: 20L pail of Petro-Can 80W140 GL5 and six oil filters for my son’s new 2012 F350 6.2L.
First Ford truck in the family, which just shows to go ya, never say never.

The gear lube was $280 Canuck bucks tax included.
Add a 5L jug of M1 0w40, windshield wipers, 4 fish lures at $9 each, a package of half inch extensions and a funnel.
After driving 1,200 kms last night, I met my son down town. The oil was down below add, so I topped it up before sending him on his way.

Recent acquisitions were one Donaldson P551018 for the Ram 6.7L & five Carquest Premium 85348 for the nephews Escape, used the March AAP code and it took about $1.50 off each filter and shipped free being over $35. We'll give them a shot; I like the silicon gaskets and big tube holes but not so much made in China:rolleyes: but they look better than most others available these days.

2 5 quart jugs of PENNZOIL Ultra Platinum 0w-20 from A.A.P. @ $41.99 each (- tax ) . Used $10 rebate from previous oil / filter purchase .
Both jugs dated December of '24 .

41.99 x 2 = 83.98 - 10.00 = 73.98 - 30.00 = 43.98 / 2 = $ 21.99 each .

Also purchased 3 HYUNDAI / KIA O.E.M. 26300-35505 oil filters with crush washer @ $6 each . Mann + Hummel from Korea .

The local PX finally had a 40 weight oil in stock again.
I would have been fine with any synthetic 0w-40 or 5w-40.
Royal Purple 0w-40 was in stock and I was happy to buy it.
Still another 2000-3000 miles until my next oil change, but since in-stock of certain oils is so spotty at the PX, I got my oil while the getting was good.
Previous 4 visits for example had no Xw-40 in stock. Or in one case insufficient quantity (4 qts)
Otherwise only Xw-20.
