Went to Advance Auto next to my work on lunch to see if they had any Total Quartz oil. None of that but they did have all of their Castrol Edge European Formula 5W-30 on sale for $5.23 per quart after tax so I picked up 5 and then a discontinued Toyota YZZF2 filter along with two 4386 filters all half off. They had tons of oil filters and air filters for obsolete stuff too like old 80s and 90s Mopar stuff and everything. Should have grabbed the other two quarts of this oil. I might go back and get them after work.

Good deal on filters but not picking on you BUT $5~ per quart “sale” doesn’t jive with me. Sorry just my dumb mechanic opinion.

You were closer I’d give you some of my Total 5w40 and 30

5 quarts of STP High Mileage 0W-20 Full Synthetic. And a STP S7317XL filter. Won’t be running for 10,000 miles however will be for 5 on my brother in laws Honda Odyssey. They drive a ton and it’s their only car so it needs frequent oil changes just changed the oil last month but they already have put over 1,500 miles on it since then. They are going to West Virginia Saturday so 200 miles each way to the part they are going so going to need to change the oil sooner than we think. This time decided we would get high mileage. I don’t know why parts guy ordered 5 individual quarts instead of one jug but that’s ok easier to pour. We don’t have any high mileage oil at work no one wanted to pay extra for it when we had it so we stopped carrying it. I don’t care to use store brand oil and filter but it’s not my car so it will be ok. And brother in law isn’t picky so it works. I asked for this filter as I’ve read some good things on them. And also got two things of BG oil supplement and two things of fuel treatment. They have excellent products in my opinion.

6 quarts of Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20. Got it at Ace Hardware 50% off sale on Tuesday. Good old trustworthy Pennzoil which surprisingly I haven’t used very much of. They are always sold out at Walmart so I have to get something else. I wanted the high mileage formula but they didn’t have any of that. The Escape specs 5W-20 so that’s what I use in it as well as grandmas car so it could in either car. When I done the study for Pennzoil I used their Platinum High Mileage 5W-20. I used to only run Valvoline in my Escape but since they took the easy pour spout off I just buy any name brand now. Prefer Castrol or Valvoline but I have this Pennzoil to use now and when I change it this weekend I’m putting Quaker State in it since I seen a lot of people like it here and I already bought it.

On line price $15.23 per 5qt jug at Wally World but "out of stock". Store Price matched. Pennzoil rebate $20 on 2x 5qt jugs until 9/30. So $5.23 for 5qts of PP. Applies to 5W-20 and 5W-30

Only one rebate per address/email/name/household. Good thing I maintain future daughter-in-laws Tucson also. My 2 Honda's that call for 0W-20 will survive. The other 3 vehicles call for 5W-20 anyway.
