I've been getting Baldwin filters now since the Champ Filter/First Brands bankruptcy from the Rock. They seem well made but the ones for my Cadillac are made in Taiwan. The rest of the cars in my fleet use USA made Baldwin filters.

Did the oil change on the Legacy....Autozone had a sale where if you bought a 1 gallon of Valvoline, you got a free filter. So I got their Max Life High Mileage 5W30 and filter for 35.00.

No problem! Glad to hear it’s a decent oil! I had stocked up on everything else to get me through 2027 but forgot about my Inlaws riding mower and generator that I maintain. Everything else had already gone up in price.
Slight update.

Of the six jugs ordered, three arrived. The other three were “damaged in transit” and returned to the shipper. When I tried to reorder, they are no longer listed on the site

I stopped at Wal Mart to grab a filter for my kid's 4.0 Explorer. Supertech is, of course, gone. Purolator seems to be the new go-to, with no "budget" option. Motorcraft was actually the cheapest option, so I grabbed one of those. I will be making a RockAuto order shortly fo rmy inventory.

While I was there, I saw that there AC Delco Pf46e were almost a buck a piece less than on RockAuto at $4.46/ea. There were seven on the shelf, so I bought them. That should last my old 1500HD a while.

Since the Tractor Supply mishap, I used that refund toward some more Pennzoil Platinum 10w-30 at AutoZone. I got 32qt for $139 out the door.

With that purchase I should be deep enough to get my fleet through the next two years.
