I trust the printout on the box. It's 98/30.I called Pronto and said “I’m interested in the efficiency of one of your filters” and the rep laughed and said “I thought I’d heard everything, I don’t even know what that means!”
So I didn’t get anywhere.
That’s never a good sign when the person who is supposed to have that information says thatI called Pronto and said “I’m interested in the efficiency of one of your filters” and the rep laughed and said “I thought I’d heard everything, I don’t even know what that means!”

Yep lol, looks like I’ll be doing Carquest Premiums from now on.That’s never a good sign when the person who is supposed to have that information says that![]()
Parts Plus; however, lists 99% at > 20 microns. Interesting as they seem to be the same joint.Yep lol, looks like I’ll be doing Carquest Premiums from now on.
Pronto and Parts Plus might be giving the efficiency specs to PGI to make their filters to, so they could be different.Parts Plus; however, lists 99% at > 20 microns. Interesting as they seem to be the same joint.

Thanks for the heads up! I did some digging and it appears to be pretty decent oil, probably overpriced at full retail.Picked up a couple jugs from Tractor Supply on their ”subscribe & save” for $16 a jug. Never heard of it before but it’s for my In laws yard equipment and generator. Will be enough to get me through next year. Hopefully Itll get me through the shortage/price hike lol

No problem! Glad to hear it’s a decent oil! I had stocked up on everything else to get me through 2027 but forgot about my Inlaws riding mower and generator that I maintain. Everything else had already gone up in price. Thanks for the heads up! I did some digging and it appears to be pretty decent oil, probably overpriced at full retail.
$3.20/qt after a 5% reward for synthetic, however, is a good enough deal that I ordered six five quart jugs. Most of the vehicles I have in the drive don’t care enough to need anything fancy.
